All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field.
7 The grass withers, the flower fades,
When the breath of the Lord blows upon it;
Surely the people are grass.
8 The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.

die-hard-with-a-vengeanceDie Hard with a Vengeance – Is a lot better than Die Hard 2. I imagine this is a popular opinion, but I am honestly not sure; I believe the second film was actually better received, somehow. The original director of Die Hard signed onto this project, and the presentation hints more at a direct sequel to the first film. Really, just watching it again for the first time in a decade, I realize that Die Hard with a Vengeance contains exactly zero references to the second film at all. This immediately elevates the film in my mind.

14 For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. 16 But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good. 17 So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. 19 For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. 20 But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.

I want to tell you something about Fortune Street. Fortune Street says it’s ok to want money and to desire funds to make more money. Also, it inspires you to screw over your family members and/or friends by turning into a capitalist pig. It’s interesting playing the game with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Political Science PhD/ Economics MA. How exactly did the guy with a Theology MTS win a game? Certainly he shouldn’t try to play a Monopoly and/or stock trading hybrid and love it, right?
