Theology 101 – The Holy Spirit and Charismatic Theology

Last updated on November 6, 2014

The Holy Spirit is a complicated, confusing subject with a lot of varying opinions as to its existence, effects, and efficacy (hurray for alliteration!). Zach and Michael go from history lessons to charismatic ideas to how we disagree and agree on a tense, somewhat contentious subject.

Topics include Judaism, Apostle’s Creed, Nicene Creed, the Trinity, the Virgin Mary, grace, Biblical timelines, Pauline theology, filioque controversy (very poorly explained), Kierkegaard, charismatic theology, spiritual gifts, tongues, miracles, speaking in different languages you don’t know, resurrections, Satan, the occult, spiritual warfare, demons, pornography, holy rollers, and other stuff!
