Podcast #31 – Suffering

Last updated on March 9, 2014

Sorry about the image above (totally unrelated, but I couldn’t resist!).

Sounds like a fun topic, doesn’t it? Well, life isn’t always a bowl of cherries, and suffering remains an essential topic in Christian circles. So how can we apply video games and their structures to it? Zach, Josh, and Ted talk all about it!

Topics include Soundshapes, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Game Gear, Sega Master System, Firehawk (PC), Chrono Trigger, The Last of Us: Left Behind, The Banner Saga, Frozen, Don Bluth, Shin Megami Tensei, NieR, X-COM, Fire Emblem (i.e., “permadeath”), The Shivah, That Dragon Cancer, Ouya, PewDiePie, Rocksmith, John Stott, and Lent. Beats me how we got to these, but hey, weird stuff happens!
