I don't have the XBLA port, so I couldn't say. However, people tell me the PSP port included in the PSP Dracula X Chronicles has new voice acting and stuff from the Saturn version (not released here). I need to go mess around with that.

Oh yeah, whoops! Totally forgot to write about the GBA games like I planned. I guess the best way to put it is that they're "OK". It's kinda like Tony Hawk - the third game felt mechanically complete and summarized, and then they just added so much unnecessary stuff on top. Circle of the Moon and onward felt like they didn't know where to take the series, exactly. The problem of success, sigh...

Honestly, I haven't played Aria extensively enough to say, but I did play the rest. Ecclesia was the first meaningful change, I think, though the map system makes no sense in that one (it's basically linear anyway, illusion of meaningful choice).

Not sure why Japanese culture embraces such things, but I imagine it loses something in translation in the West. Still, plenty of people (emo and non-emo alike) embrace it for what it is, and find enjoyment out of it, myself included.

Hearthstone will be fun. And especially relevant if, in fact, it offer WoW rewards also.

Wildstar looks pretty interesting (and steals so much from WoW it's not even funny), but I'd play it.

I probably should have included some of the more recent armor sets...but I just happen to like that one.

The art design's been more brilliant than ever, with some of the most detailed and beautiful environments they've ever put out. The raids became more complex, but the game itself's more streamlined if still a bit complicated for newcomers. With 8.3 million strong, though, they keep picking up new people.

Not sure how much longer it'll last, but I'd say at least five more years. Blizzard is working on a new MMO project (Titan), but they've got no incentive to release it really as long as WoW stands.

Haha. I thought the top photo was a low-poly Sub-Zero at first. It's fascinating that WoW is still so strong despite starting to really show its age. Do you think that it'll ever go away?

Deeply familiar with CBMW, I am. I was "converted" from complementarian to egalitarian in 2006 though. Well, not entirely ... but I see a need and a biblical trajectory for strong flexibility in roles. Which is to say ... the borders and the rigidity that come with definitions of "masculine" and "feminine" start to fall away. Not entirely, but ... yeah. A fair bit. :)
